When the stove guard is installed but not started/activated it lets some power through with little effect so that for example clocks and lamps can be used even though the stove guard is in stand by mode. The stove guard and stove timer is activaded automatic when a cooker knop is turned on and the remaining time is shown in timer display. Stove guard is deactivated when the cooker knobs are turned off. This Stove guard product is suitable especially for people with intellectual disabilities, dementia and where memory or perception are weakened. 

If the stove is not switched off when the timer time has elapsed, the stove switch breaks the power to the stove, thus avoiding, for example, dry cooking

The heat protector detects heat and breaks the power to the stove if it detects temperatures that are dangerously high. This protects against fire by overheating, such as cooking oil that can catch fire if it overheats

The StoveGuard SV series is prepared for connection of external equipment. This gives the possibility to connect devices such as key switches, motion detection, fire alarms etc

It has shown that automatc start does not work with some induction hobs, we therefore recommend that you choose the SE-series with manual start.
